Cello Lessons:

In Ali’s one on one cello lessons, you will learn a broad international range of cello education including, scales, exercises, sight-reading, pieces, and other forms such as sonatas and concertos. Ali is passionate about encouraging his students to have fun, practice, and succeed in their cello performance.

Fees:

30 Minutes: $45

45 Minutes: $65

1 Hour: $75

 

Exams and Auditions:

Ali prepares cello exams for his students in all grades up to diploma as well as preparation for local NZ student auditions and competitions.

Exams:

  • ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music)

  • Trinity

 

Student Concerts:

Once a year Ali hosts concerts where students can perform as soloists and in a variety of cello ensembles. The concerts are great opportunities for students to find confidence in their playing and experience live performance to prepare for their exams and also to share their playing with family and friends. In these concerts Ali invites professional soloists to participate with the students as well.

  • Payment Policy

    Students may pay for lessons through online banking or cash only. Students will prepay for lessons monthly in advance.

  • Cancellation / Makeup / Refund policy

    Students can cancel lessons 24 hours in advance otherwise no refunds are made available. Makeup lessons are available 4 times a year only for students who cancel 24 hours before the lesson. All lesson payments are non refundable.
